We’re looking for studio pals!

Would you like to work alongside the wonderful From The Other team in our gorgeous studio at Islington Mill? We’re on the lookout for new studio mates to share our lovely space.

Who we are

We are From The Other; a small team of Creative Producers delivering events, festivals and projects across Greater Manchester and beyond. Our core team is made up of six people, supported by a brilliant wider freelance network who collaborate with us on our events.

The Space

The studio is based within Islington Mill, an artist community of 100+ residents with a gallery, residency space, free art school and the delicious deli-lama cafe. The space has loads of natural light, furniture, a kitchen, WiFi, accessible lift, and gender-neutral toilets.

Our space has 24 hour access so it can suit daytime, evening and weekend usage.

FTO typically uses the studio from 10am–6pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. From time to time, the space is also used as a green room, rehearsal, or workshop space for artists, so flexibility around reconfiguring the room is helpful.

Cost

We’d prefer one organisation to take on the full share, but we’re open to splitting the available area if needed.

Whole available area: £1500 (inc VAT) per month

Splitting the available space between two: £750 (inc VAT) per month

Splitting the available space between three: £500 (inc VAT) per month
