– Factory InternationalAs part of Manchester International Festival 2025, we’ve co-curated a unique, immersive, in-the-round experience celebrating 20 years of our Sounds From The Other City festival.
Working with renowned independent selectors Now Wave, Band On The Wall and Fat Out; we’ll be showcasing a selection of live music, DJs, drag performances and dance over one night in Factory International’s landmark cultural space Aviva Studios.
Featuring an array of artists that echo the kaleidoscope of styles and sounds that has characterised the festival’s programme over the last two decades, the performance will be a celebration of the very foundations Sounds From The Other City has been built on: platforming grassroots artists and promoters to create truly unique experiences, ripe for the discovery of audiences old and new.
